COVID-19 Response

 We will provide three areas to gather in our building and will encourage you to honor one another and each person's personal preference on space and greeting style. There is no expectation to join us in person, only invitation and opportunity. If you arrive and sense the space is not for you or you'd like to try another one of our gathering times please feel free. If you do not feel comfortable joining us in person you can still join us via live stream on Facebook!

Dear KCC family and friends,

 

The Senior Leadership Team is blessed to share the following information about COVID-19 and our prayerful plan in response to our circumstances.

 

We understand the enemy is attempting to produce isolation and fear but we believe this will prove to be a season of intimacy, equipping, increase, and opportunity! Through this trying time we will grow in intimacy with the Lord and each other through our own personal time, with our families, and in our Stirring Groups. We will be equipped in these smaller gatherings and will be even better prepared to face tomorrow as we look more and more like Jesus. We will increase even in our numbers as hunger and availability in our community grows and we provide safe spaces to share life and love well. In loving well and being the blessing, we will re-present Jesus to our community and county by BEING the Church - with Christ in us, the HOPE of GLORY!

 

Here is our current plan (which is always subject to change):

 

1) We encourage everyone to continue to listen to the Lord and do what is best for themselves, their families, and our community. We honor those that will choose to remain home and practice safe social distancing as well as those intending to go about life with less restriction. We do not believe one of these responses is more faith-filled than the other but encourage everyone to steward well what the Lord has given.

2) If you are ill or have pre-existing health issues or concerns we encourage you to be responsible and honor both yourself and our community by choosing not to attend gatherings that could potentially further infect yourself or increase risk to others. Keep in mind all that God is doing and your significance to this family and community both now and in the future!

3) We currently have Stirring Groups meeting in homes both locally and regionally. These groups will meet either weekly or every other week and we believe these gatherings will be key to the increase the Lord is promising us even in these uncertain times. Currently these groups are meeting in person and via video conference through mediums like "Zoom".

5) We will be sending three emails each week. 1) We will be on Facebook Live on Sundays and will be sending links for you to click on and so participate with us from your homes or wherever you are; 2) We will send a weekly list of opportunities which represent ways you can be involved with the KCC family to bless our community; 3) We will send out updates for our Stirring Groups and testimonies from them about what God is doing in, around, among, and through us!

 

We encourage you all to stay connected, hang out in the Word of God, pray with authority, and stand on God's promises to us! 

 

Ephesians 3:14-21

  For this reason I kneel before the Father, 

from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. 

I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 

so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 

may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 

 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 

to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
